Adapt Life offers a complimentary first-year insurance policy with every mobility scooter and powerchair purchase, partnering with Fish Insurance to deliver expert protection for your peace of mind.
How It Works:
- Order Placement: Automatically apply for insurance with every order.
- Permission for Details: Consent requested to send your details to Fish Insurance.
- Fish Insurance Initiation: They'll contact you for policy setup.
- Policy Finalization: Fish Insurance ensures full coverage.
- Enjoy Protection: Activate your policy and stay protected for a full year.
What’s Covered:
Accidental and Malicious Damage, Fire and Storm Damage, Flood Damage (with precautions), Theft or Attempted Theft (forcible).
Exclusions:
Accessories (unless damaged with the scooter or powerchair), Breakdowns and Defects, Wear and Tear, Aids Exceeding 8 mph.

Recovery Costs:
Homebound Help: Up to £100 per claim, with a yearly cap of £200.
New For Old Replacement:
Youthful Aids: Replacement for aids less than two years old at the time of the claim.
Excess Fee:
No Excess Fee on Standard and Extra Plans. Only £25 on Basic if you make a claim.
Terms & Conditions:
- We cover on either the 'Lite', 'Standard' or 'Extra' policy depending on the value of your scooter or powerchair.
- If you want to add tyre puncture cover then this will be at your own cost
- To qualify for a complimentary policy, you must purchase a mobility scooter or powerchair through Adapt Life
- Cover only starts when the policy has been set up by Fish
