The Ablestand Patient Turner assists a carer or attendant in transferring a user from one seat to another, such as a bed, wheelchair, toilet, or commode. It features a sturdy steel frame that provides stable support for the user. The height of the handles can be adjusted to match the user's requirements, while the padded lower leg supports are tool-free adjustable in width, angle, and height for comfort. The low-profile base allows easy placement of the user's feet, and the substantial base area offers stability with a rear bar that helps the carer counterbalance.

The handle includes multiple gripping points for different carer or user support needs and is angled to facilitate a "nose-over-toe" standing movement. The central handle bar's opening enables quick fitting of optional support belts. Two rear 8cm (3") castors ensure easy transportation between patients. The Ablestand can be easily dismantled and reassembled without tools for transport and storage. Its wipe-clean surfaces simplify maintenance.

To use the Ablestand, the user must pull on the handle to stand up and bear weight. It is designed for pivoting transfers between sitting surfaces and is not intended for transporting the user.
