We’ve been using our ramp on movie sets for film and tv getting our equipment on and off trucks and trailers and it’s worked brilliantly, easy to store as well either flat or rolled up.
The Apollo saturn rotating bed i purchased from Adapt life is a god send to me 🥰
I suffer with primary progressive ms
And getting ìn & out of bed was a terrible ordeal for me & my wife helping me.
I fully recommend this bed great quality and construction.
And Adapt life's reasonable price
Good support from the service team and a very helpful representative from Etac was sent over to demonstrate the equipment.
It was an easy experience dealing with Haydon and his company. Sorted the order and got it to use when they said it would be here. Great job :-)
This rollator is amazing. Comfortable to use, sturdy and turns into a comfortable wheelchair when needed
Arrived quickly and the customer service was great too. It was easy to unbox and set up and it has been a fantastic addition to my mobility aids. The only downside is that the plastic where the seat clips into marks easily, but that is just cosmetic. It rolls so easily and is intuitive to use. The colour is lovely and I use it nearly every time I leave the house, depending on my needs that day. I cannot recommend it enough
Has transformed my ability to get out and about.
A lot of Comforts and plenty of speed for a mobility scooter and you can get out more
I bought the Rollz motion performance rollator / wheelchair as I have limited walking abilities. This is the second of a hybrid rollator but a step up from my first purchase from a different brand. It's ability to be used on uneven ground & surfaces makes it both amazing to use as a walker or as a wheelchair. I found with my old wheelchair that it was difficult when lifting over kerbs & uneven pavement. The Rollz goes over them with no problems at all. Incredibly although it is heavier than the old model because of the way it has been designed, it actually feels lighter to push. It folds down easily & can be put into the boot of a car with ease. I am so pleased that I decided to buy the Rollz. Admittedly it is quite an expensive item, but it is so much more efficient than my other walker. Now my disabilities don't stop me from enjoying getting out on shopping trips. I purchased this from the Adaptlife website. It arrived within a few days of ordering & I was kept informed of my order tracking throughout.
Having struggled for a while getting in and out of the bath the Bath belt lift has been a welcome relief. Easy and safe to use I didn’t realise just how much I needed this aid. No regrets getting this.
I purchased a Rollz motion performance rollator / wheelchair through their website. I ordered it on the Monday, & it was delivered on the Thursday. It was well packaged & arrived in the delivery slot stated. I can't fault the service of this company. Thank you.
I purchased a Nile Leg Lifter through this company. I was delighted with the price & also the Leg Lifter itself. It arrived promptly & has functioned well. I would be unable to get into bed unaided without it.
It’s a wonderful feeling being able to get off the loo by yourself, I’m recovering from bone fractures and the loo riser is a wonderful support aid in recovery.
This scooter is light snd easy to assemble and fits into the boot of my car nicely ( a Fiat Panda) It is very manouverable so is easy to use indoors as weIt having made a huge difference to days out as I can now expolre properly rather than having days restricted by my arthritis. I have used it in big shops, National Trust gardens, our local arboretum and museums - it copes well with all sorts of surfaces. I would recommend it
As always fantastic service from this company, prompt delivery and great customer service. Thank you
As you explore further into Adapt Life's collection of patient weighing scales, you'll find an array of options tailored to meet the diverse needs of healthcare settings, from hospitals to care homes. Our selection, featuring leading brands like Marsden and Prism Medical, includes a variety of scales such as the innovative Prism Freeway scales unit incorporating QRS, and the robust Marsden weighing systems. We also offer specialised solutions like wheelchair weighing scales and hoist weighing scales, ensuring that all patients, including the elderly and disabled, have access to accurate and comfortable weighing options.
In addition to traditional weighing machines, our collection boasts hanging weighing scales and electronic weighing scales, offering versatility and precision in patient weight measurement. The Prism Freeway scales unit, known for its quick response system (QRS), is particularly beneficial in fast-paced healthcare environments, providing swift and accurate readings. Whether it's for routine check-ups in a hospital or for monitoring residents in a care home, our patient weighing scales are an essential tool in patient care, aiding in the accurate assessment of weight and height, which is crucial for proper treatment and medication dosing.
Guidelines for weighing a patient include using a calibrated scale, ensuring the patient is balanced and still, and if bedridden or wheelchair-bound, using appropriate scales like bed scales, hoist scales or wheelchair scales.
The best way to weigh a patient depends on their mobility and health condition. Ambulatory patients can use a standing digital scale, while wheelchair users and bedridden patients require specialised scales designed for their specific needs.
The frequency of weighing patients in a hospital depends on their medical condition. Generally, patients are weighed upon admission and then regularly as per the treatment plan, which could be daily or weekly.
Assessing a patient's weight and height is vital for calculating proper medication dosages, planning medical treatments, monitoring nutritional status, and tracking changes in health over time.
The weight of a bedridden patient is measured using a bed scale. This involves placing a special weighing platform under the patient's mattress, allowing for accurate weight measurement without requiring the patient to move.
