Introducing the Woburn Community Profiling Bed, a versatile solution designed to cater to the unique needs of the elderly and disabled residents in care homes and community settings.
Engineered with durability in mind, this bed can withstand multiple dismantles and rebuilds, ensuring longevity and cost-effectiveness for your care facility.
One of its standout features is its contribution to infection control, a crucial aspect of maintaining a healthy environment in care homes. The Woburn Community Profiling Bed is equipped with optional extras that enhance its functionality and safety.
These extras include a built-in extension platform, an external battery backup, a vigilant falls reduction system, a Trendelenburg function, an under bed light, auto-regression, and secure side rails.
For caregivers, the bed offers a significant advantage by allowing them to raise it to a maximum height of 800mm.
This improved working height reduces strain and enhances the comfort of care providers, facilitating better care for residents.
Safety is a top priority, and the Woburn Community Profiling Bed addresses it comprehensively. All cables are intelligently integrated into the bed platform, eliminating trailing cables and the associated risk of trip hazards.
This thoughtful design not only aids safety but also makes it feasible to use hoists and stand aids conveniently alongside the bed.
Additionally, customization is at your fingertips, with a range of finishes available to suit your preferences. Simply reach out to our team to explore the options that best match your care facility's aesthetic.
When it comes to security, Harvest Healthcare's Woburn side rail systems set the standard. They require two-handed operation, effectively preventing accidental releasing or operation by bed users.
With one hand slightly raising the side rail and the other releasing it, you can trust that these side rails are among the most secure on the market, ensuring the safety and well-being of your residents.
Invest in the Woburn Community Profiling Bed to provide the best possible care in your care home or community care setting. Its durability, infection control features, and optional extras make it an invaluable addition to your facility's care equipment lineup.

Great product. Feels safe, powerful and easy to operate. Can cope well with hills and looks decent too!
The service, product knowledge and professional attitude during delivery and handover was outstanding. Will certainly use this company again. 5*
Prompt order confirmation & delivery
I purchased one on behalf of my mother who is 80 and has severe rheumatoid arthritis. It is far lighter, a smoother ride and more manoeuvrable than her previous rollator, but feels robust and well made. She loves it. It arrived quickly and well packaged.
Excellent, comfortable cushion definately well worth the money.
Brilliant service quick delivery would definitely use them again
We needed something better than the fixed wall changing table when we moved to a new and adapted house. This was researched well before purchase and we are confident this is the right one for our use. It works particularly well and is very versatile. Only time will tell about its durability. I would recommend it.
A quality product, well and carefully delivered as promised.
Thank you Haydon for your attention to detail.

This is a fab scooter. Suspension makes such a difference especially off tarmac, wheels feel robust. I just love everything about it. My husband also loves it as it’s so much lighter than my previous one. All round great.
Will make a great difference to my getting around
The purchase of a Medical Bed to assist me with the actions getting in and out of Bed, was generally carried out in a smooth, efficient manner. The only problem was the delay in the delivery, although this was affected by World Events.
Great service. The bath lift arrived the next day and has now been fitted. Good price and helpful staff when I called. Very pleased with the purchase, and it's already in use.
The cost of a hospital bed varies depending on features and brand, ranging from £500 to over £10,000 for advanced models.
To get a hospital bed at home, you can purchase one from a medical supply store like Adapt Life or consult healthcare providers for recommendations and potential insurance coverage.
In the U.K., standard hospital beds are approximately 90cm in width and 200cm in length, though sizes can vary with model and brand.
Qualification for a hospital bed at home typically requires a healthcare provider's assessment and prescription based on medical needs and home care requirements.
Hospital beds are adjustable (profiling) and equipped with features like height adjustment and side rails for patient care, while home beds typically have fixed frames and lack of adjustable and safety features.
