Filtration Technology

The Blueair 600 Series SmokeStop filter employs a Three-Stage Progressive Filter design, resembling multiple filters in one.

Comprising three levels of ultra-thin fibres with a 'lock-in' design, captured particles are securely contained, preventing their release even under heavy loads.

Initial layers capture larger particles like pollen and dust, while subsequent layers target smaller particles such as bacteria and exhaust particles. The 600 Series SmokeStop filter kit includes three enhanced active carbon filters, one for each side of the air release.

This unique design resists clogging, allowing the Blueair 600 Series air purifiers to maintain peak performance over an extended period.

With 0.9kg of activated carbon, the SmokeStop Filter effectively removes odours and gases, addressing pollutants like cigarette smoke and VOCs from household items like paints.
